Henllan Caravan Park

Henllan Caravan Park is situated in the heart of Mid Wales on meadowland adjoining the River Banwy and is approached by a lane (1/2 mile) off the A458 Welshpool Dolgellau Road, 6 miles west of Welshpool.

The park is grade 5* and has won numerous awards in the 'Wales in Bloom' competition.

The park is open from 1st March to 31st December each year.

There is a bowling green for use by caravanners and locals alike. Residents can enjoy trout fishing in the river, part of which is adjacent to the site.

There is a pitch and putt, which is nine holes.

A children's play area has been constructed with modern equipment. There is a games room complete with TV, pool table and video machine, etc.

Dogs are allowed, but must be kept on a lead at all times.

There are two areas set aside for tourers, motor homes and tents; some with hard standings, but all have electric hook-up points, modern toilet block with showers, washing machine and dryer are also available.

The village of Llanfair Caereinion is 2 miles to the West with it's excellent small shops.

Welshpool being our main town with its weekly livestock and street market on Saturday is a great attraction to all visitors.

Powys Castle, Welshpool/Llanfair Light Railway, Golf, Squash, Tennis, Swimming Baths & Pony Trekking are all close at hand.

A short drive will take you to Lakes Vrynwy and Bala, and it's an hour’s drive to the coast, or you can relax by the river.
