Surrounded by picturesque countryside,
riverside and canal walks, this site is ideal if you enjoy walking,
cycling or picnicking. On site boasts fishing, children’s play area, BBQ area, dog walk area, clean toilet and shower facilities plus a disabled suite. At the new on site shop you can buy food items and drinks plus small caravan or tent accessories. Greedy Pigs Diner is open at weekends through until the end of August, serving beefburgers etc. Opposite the site there is a pub/restaurant set on the weir for good value food and opposite to this is a cafe. You are also only one and a half miles from the busy market town of Hoddesdon with excellent shopping facilities. If you prefer outdoor pursuits, the River Lee Country Park is an excellent place to enjoy a spot of birdwatching; you can also visit a working farm or go on a country walk. All in all, this site has something for everyone to enjoy. Please note the entrance gate to the touring field opens at 8.00am and closes at 10.00pm. Sorry, we don't take double axle caravans.
