Plas Gwyn Caravan Park

Plas Gwyn Caravan Park is a small, quiet family run site developed within the grounds of Plas Gwyn House. The house was built in 1785 in Georgian style with a colonial style verandah from which Anglesey can be seen.

From the rear of the house and park, Snowdonia can be seen. Plas Gwyn means white house or mansion in the Welsh language and as a point of historical interest Lloyd George was a frequent visitor to Plas Gwyn.

Plas Gwyn has the mountains and lakes of Snowdonia nearby, with the Isle of Anglesey and it's many splendid beaches, within minutes easy motoring distance.

The excellent shopping facilities at Bangor and the historic Royal walled town of Caernarfon are within easy access by car or a regular bus service.

Nearby, Llanberis boasts the Snowdon Mountain Railway, Padarn Lakeside Railway, Padarn Slate Museum, Craft Workshops. Golf, fishing, canoeing and sailing and horse riding are all available locally.

Plas Gwyn Touring & Camping

The touring and camping park provides facilities throughout spring and summer (1^st March to late November, weather permitting).

There are 26 touring pitches including four level hard standings for motor homes, all with electrical outlets.The toilet block has flush toilets, thermostatically controlled showers, wash basins with hot and cold water and shaving and hair dryer points.

Our separate camping area has pitches for up to ten tents with power outlets on two pitches.

We have a laundry and tourist information point available for use by all guests, a small convenience shop at reception and a Calor and Camping Gas exchange.

Plas Gwyn Holiday Caravans

Comfortable two and three bedroom holiday caravans are available for short breaks or weekly hire. Clean well behaved pets are welcome. All caravans have hot and cold running water, shower and flush toilet.

Kitchens are fully equipped including full gas cooker, microwave oven, electric kettle, toaster and mini vacuum. Lounges have digital colour television with DVD player.

Plas Gwyn B&B

Plas Gwyn offers an excellent Bed and Breakfast facility in Plas Gwyn House. There is a separate guest lounge with TV and an open fire when required. Adjoined is the guest dining room. All rooms have central heating.

Plas Gwyn has two ensuite rooms available, both are twin with linkable beds, one has an adjoining room that can sleep a third person. Each room has it's own tea and coffee making facilities.
