Scotgate Chalet, Camping & Caravan Park near Keswick is an outstanding holiday centre on the threshold of the Lake District's most spectacular scenery.

Superbly placed between Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite Lake, with dramatic views towards Skiddaw and the northern fells, it makes the perfect base for exploring Lakeland.

Scotgate is surrounded by magnificent walking country and the fells ringing the nearby valleys of Borrowdale and Newlands provide some of the best mountain walks in the country.

Our permanent static caravans are comfortable and cater for up to six people whilst providing everything you need for a trouble free stay. All caravans are on mains water and electricity, with free calor gas for cooking.

Our largest twelve foot wide pet free caravans offer extra space. Each caravan has colour television, a microwave, oil filled radiators in the lounge and panel heaters in the bedrooms and bathroom.

There is parking place next to each caravan and a games area at the centre of the site adds to the feeling of spaciousness.

Careful thought and years of experience have gone into the planning of Scotgate. The result is a spacious and comfortable holiday park on a well-screened nine acre site.

Our range of holiday accommodation has been tailored to suit all needs. The seven ever popular chalets, built with families in mind, each have ample room for up to six people with two bedrooms, a lounge, well equipped kitchen, shower, colour TV, DVD and microwave.

We are always happy to welcome touring caravans and all types of tent at Scotgate. The ground has the double advantage to campers of being level and well drained.

We have some electrical hook-ups for motorhomes.
