Smytham Manor

Welcome to Smytham Manor, North Devon, where you can enjoy a stress free break, own your own holiday home, holiday in our luxury lodges or camp in our spacious grounds, in the heart of peaceful North Devon.

Smytham Manor is a family run Holiday Park with 23 acres of space, we are a low density park with two developments of Holiday Homes with open parkland between offering you freedom for 50 weeks of the year.

Situated 2 miles south of Great Torrington on the A386 Okehampton road. The Park is centrally located for exploring the whole of North Devon, or even further a field. Dartmoor is only half an hour away, and Westward Ho! is just twenty minutes by car.

Contained in its own secluded valley the grounds consist of extensive grass areas with attractive shrubberies which extend towards the woodland ponds where you can always find a peaceful spot to just sit and enjoy nature. The Park offers a solar heated outdoor swimming pool and sun patio sheltered within the old walled garden.

For the children we have a games room, outside play equipment, and outdoor games Kid's can even bring their bikes to enjoy all the open space. There is lots to do within easy reach of our park; golf courses, fishing, horse riding and water sports to name a few, as well as walking and cycling from the park on the Tarka Trail. 

Your evening can be completed in the new bar with its welcoming and friendly atmosphere. or just sit out and enjoy the relaxing peace that is Smytham Manor.

The luxurious Lodges at Smytham are situated within our the relaxing parkland overlooking farmland, the Lodges are ideal for a holiday at any time of the year, you will have full use of the park facilities (depending on season).

All of our Lodges come fully equipped with all you need for a relaxing holiday, including microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer in the kitchen. Colour Nicam TV with DVD player and freeview (that accepts top up card).

Bed Linen and towels are included and beds will be made for your arrival (Cots provided free).

Unfortunately no pets are allowed in the lodges.

Camping and Touring

Smytham can offer you both hard standings and grass pitches, as well as a variety of areas to camp around the park or the Old Walled Garden.

This all grass area is popular with families and small groups.

The Walled Garden has sheltered pitches and a limited number of electric hook ups, as well as easy access to the outdoor pool.

The touring field is situated off the main drive, with three terraces of level pitches, offering hard standings, as well as electric hook ups to every pitch.
