Whitby Holiday Park |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
A magnificent location, perched high on a cliff-top overlooking Saltwick Bay, the sound of the sea and the fresh, salty air invigorate visitors to this site which was winner of the David Bellamy Bronze Conservation Award in 2004. With its wonderful views, close proximity to a wealth of local treasures, and range of facilities, this 4 Star park is an excellent choice as a holiday destination for all ages. Once a haven for pirates and smugglers, the cliff-sheltered bays of this coastline are as beautiful as they are legendary.
Whitby is a thriving fishing
port with a picturesque harbour and quaint town, its shops, restaurants and pubs
full of the character associated with a bygone era. More action and adventure, however, may be sought at Flamingoland Fun Park, or the busy seaside town of Scarborough, with its shops, cinemas, theatres and Sea life Centre.
Alternatively, a walk along the
coastal footpaths in this area will appeal to nature lovers.
